Everyone knows Carlie as a very cheerful and happy teen. She makes sure she helps people around her and that she gets good grades. What many don't know is what lies behind that smile. She is continuously abused by her alcoholic step father and her mom never addresses the problem. After she meets Michael, a new boy at school, she is taken into a new world Carlie never knew existed.
Will Carlie to decide whether to finally stand up to her family and fight for her love and what she finally wants.
