You're Not Him (StanxCraig rewrite)
20 parts Ongoing MatureWhen Tweek died, Craig didn't speak for over a week, then once the initial shock had worn off he'd forced himself to move on, or at least to appear that way for the sake of his friends. It's hard to keep it together when everything reminds him of Tweek and draws all of his guilt and grief back up to the surface.
On Tweek's birthday Craig impulsively decides to end it all. The past few months without him have been absolute hell and he wants out, however things don't go to plan and rather than ending his own life he accidentally ends up saving Stan's.
As the two of them begin spending more time together, Craig starts to notice little things that remind him of Tweek. It almost feels as though the universe has given him an opportunity to go back and time and be there for his boyfriend when he needed it, but Stan isn't Tweek. Tweek is dead and gone forever, and Craig can't help but feel guilty for looking to replace him-falling for Stan feels like a betrayal, but Craig can't seem to stop himself no matter how hard he tries.
