They tell her that if she murders the queen bee, Phoebe, she will take her place as the most popular girl in school. At first, Beth just laughs at this silly prediction; she didn't want it that bad. But her best friend Bonnie is all for the idea. This dark series of events puts a tragic twist on the struggle and turmoil that adolescence brings.
