I can usually expect what is going to happen on treasure hunts and are prepared before we leave. I always have a list ready before we go.
•A map of the world? Can get that in a second.
•An evening gown for galas, nightclubs, museums or anything that has a dress code? Ugh. I reluctantly have that.
•My trusty pocket knife and hiking boots? Yuppers.
•My government laptop that can access any data base in the world? I have that, though I don't want to specify where I got it...
What I was not expecting was the adorable new intern Dad hired to help us on this hunt. Or the crazy, gun-loving bad guys that just happen to want the same treasure as we do.
I'm going to need some serious help to stay sane on this hunt.

Fate's Case (a Castle Fan Fiction)
-A Castle Fan-fiction (written before the season 6 opening episode, after season 5 finally) My life was good. It wasn't perfect. Hell, it started out pretty miserable. But now my life was perfect. It was until my mother was killed anyway. Now I'm stuck here with a writer and a cop trying to track down the maniacs that are trying to kill me. And considering nothing is what it seems around here and I apparently didn't even know my own name, everything is getting too complicated. Now I can't tell for sure if I'm going to survive this. I don't know if Beckett or Castle will survive this. What am I going to do? What am I supposed to do? I'm a fifteen year old orphan with no family to take me in and no one to explain why my mother was murdered or why we were on the run my whole life. Ugh. And you thought your teenage years were tough. Disclaimer: I don't own Lanie, Gates, Beckett, Castle, Javi, Ryan, Alexis or Martha. I don't own most of their back stories either. What will you do, when you have only 5 days left, before a dead-or-alive challenge happens? Rebecca is having a highly risky brain surgery next week. Time is extremely precious for her. Yet she chooses to finish reading a book, which is unfortunately mine. I am a failing writer whose stories go nowhere. There are still two more chapters to write for this book, but I am having a writer's block. I visit her in the hospital, and greatly inspired by her courage under the unfortunate circumstances. However, can I finish the book in time for her? I'll try my best. Once again, my mind flies back to the post-apocalypse world of my fiction, searching for a way to end the book properly... ...... This is an attempt to mix comedy with tragedy. Some content is quite heavy, like cancer, depression, sick patients...etc. So prepare a tissue, just in case. I wrote and posted the first 3 chapters 4 years ago, yet due to my stupidity and insensitivity, I lost a dear friend over this story, which I regretted deeply. The idea was first inspired by another friend, who gave me some first hand experience of a cancer patient. Can't thank her enough. It's totally my fault that this story was delayed for so long. It's simply too good to waste, and not fair for her priceless contribution. There are also various things inspired by different friends online, who once bared their souls to me. Sincerely appreciate their friendship. It has totally 8 chapters. Each one has about 2000 to 3000 words. Oh boy, here we go again. Blood. It's like that one toxic ex you can't stop thinking about-you know it's bad for you, but it's got this pull. It ruins everything. Kingdoms? Toast. Hunters? Totally off the deep end. People? Let's just say the phrase "hot mess" doesn't even scratch the surface. And me? I'm Narsus. Disgraced knight, professional brooder, part-time beast slayer, full-time existential crisis. Now I'm stuck in Yharnam. Imagine a city built by gothic architecture enthusiasts who really overestimated their candle budget. The place is drowning in fog, madness, claws, and the occasional giant axe-wielding beast who really doesn't appreciate personal space. Fun, right? And let's talk about me making promises-because that's going great. This little girl hands me a music box, looks me dead in the eyes, and asks me to find her parents. And me? Being the genius that I am, I said, "Sure, kid, I'll give it a shot." Idiot. Why not promise to knit a scarf for every werewolf in Yharnam while I'm at it? Oh, and Sapphire? She's got secrets. Big ones. You know, the kind that could either save the day or end it in a flaming dumpster fire. No pressure there. I swore the minute I got the chance too, I was going to kill him. "No, please stop! For fuck sake, please!!" I felt helpless. I was letting her down in the biggest way. "See what I mean. This beautiful doll is your Achilles heel man. And you won't like it, she won't like it, but I am going to enjoy this next part."
