Apprenticed to the deputy, she wants nothing more than to become a proud warrior of ForestClan! Leafpaw is another apprentice of ForestClan but when love unexpectedly enters her life, she is forced to choose her loyalties between her clan and her lover. Darkpaw, Leafpaw's brother, meanwhile, is slowly uncovering the clans story, piecing together the events of the past that continue to haunt the clan.
