Story line: (written by simbaaddict]
This is basically an idea of Yami Marik being the villain for the whole Marik Arc. Like, his mother survives giving birth to him but is dying of illness. So, after going crazy he kills his father, Odion, and his mother dies in front of him naturally. Ishizu is spared because of her resemblance to his mother. So, Yami Marik feels remorse for what he did and sees spirits haunting him and as the Pharaoh's destruction is within reach, the remorse disappears and the spirits do and when his mother's spirit finally disappears, he loses his mind completely and becomes a complete psychopath.

~Summary~ Yami was tired of of being treated like he was a delicate gem in his kingdom. You see, he was the second child of King Sugoroku, meaning his older twin brother by a couple minutes, Yugi, was the heir of the throne. Therefore, he was treated like a jewel, made sure to be guarded at all times, and he hated that. All he wanted was to be treated like everyone else, not some fragile thing that needed to be protected at all times. One day, Yami snaps and runs away after an argument with his father. After an injury leaves him exposed in the dead of the night, a boy from a rivaling kingdom finds him and does the most unexpected thing.
