Aren an orphan is taken in by the old Wind Squad Captain Kou-Veit Pham. Aren continually asks Kou-Veit of his Father and mother until Kou-Veit finally reveals that his father is also a warrior in the animal army. Now eager to enlist Aren learns from Kou-Veit the art of battle, war, and what it means to be a warrior. However Aren was not gifted with the power of wind like his master,  but with the power of water, placing him in the custody of the water squad soon after completing his training and enlisting into the animal. Now 7 years of age Aren begins his journey as a warrior
