Emerald is an abused 16 year old girl. Her life is the farthest thing from easy, having run away from a horrible place at 15, and leaving her new home only a year later due to unfortunate circumstances. Naturally, she just wants a home where trouble doesn't follow her. Pushing back against life, the gods don't seem to be on her good side.
Obviously, her path has been thrown in a pit.
Throw in some fire, ice, a dragon or two and a few buddies, and you've got a strange story in your caldron. I can guarantee that it will be exciting, fun, and weird. Hold onto your fedoras, because Emerald's life starts with a bang.
A/N random updates. This is a completely original book, so I'd appreciate if you didn't copy it.
BTW there is no technology existing in this story.

Evelyn Sheer and the researchers are trying to create a genetic modification that enables humans to photosynthesize. Once in the facility, Evita is tagged as a test subject and loses all say over what happens to her body. She has to escape. By the time she comes up with a plan there is only one problem. Based in a world in which everyone is an angel and must earn an ability not inherited through family. It seems random but it's not in the slightest. Each matches ones personality. Finding this trait also gets you your wings, which is what every young cherub strives to earn. It's a crazy world where anything can happen. Encluding a rather odd pair.
