Nicole is average twelve-year-old girl. She is changing, figuring out who she really is, only caring about boys, hating middle school, complaining, you know. When sixth grade is over, and summer finally arrives, Nicole is more than happy. But when her so called "evil" parents break the news that the whole family will be spending all summer at the family summer home in Florida, Nicole's summer plans fall apart. No fun time with friends. No swimming with friends. None of that. Nicole's parents say it will be fun, and if not, it would just be a summer of sacrifice. But Nicole learns that things are going to change. She will end up to be very glad she spent her summer in Florida, and it really won't be a summer of sacrifice.
