Nearly 500 years ago, the Angels of Heaven 'fell', cast out by God. The Humans, so full of sin, no longer had a place beside God. The Angels now live among the Humans on Earth. The Humans have developed the ability to see our wings, wings the purest colour of white- that is, until we sin. The moment an Angel sins, their wings turn darker and darker gray, until they're pure black. This is our world now.

It's definitely not because they were sent to protect someone. Normally it's because they fall in love. Love amongst angels is quite common, but what gets you thrown down to Earth is falling in love with a mortal. Thought technically once an angels wing stop working they no are no longer immortal. A group of friends, warriors to be precise, the top in their ranks. They had a future as guardian angels, but it was all thrown away when one day while looking down they spotted a group of guys. That moment changed everything, they were thrown down. They were what people called "Fallen Angels."

Little do both of them know that these weren't exactly the commands from God herself...

That secret has sent him down to earth where he will need to learn his way around in this new life. A halo hidden and wings tucked away he's an angel locked out of heaven. THE ACTUAL TITLE IS WITHIN THE STORY. Crowley hates when Aziraphale is upset. He hates it so much, that he is willing to go against his demonic nature to help the angel feel better. Or, five times that Crowley comforts Aziraphale, and one time Aziraphale comforts Crowley. Aziraphale/Crowley at the end. Hurt/Comfort, angst, fluff, so much fluff, a bit of romance.
