The Redflower Threat

Following the death of a controversial politician, a rebellion begins festering in the underbelly of Vivaery's closest ally, Arctas. Fearful of losing this alliance, Vivaery's highest government officials send their most worthy member of the Royal Guard to extinguish the spark. A tall order by any means, but Clarans has only two months before the task is assigned to someone else and she loses the credibility she has worked for years to earn. She is allowed to bring one person of her choosing to assist her. Being a lawful woman and having little knowledge of the inner workings of crime, she chooses Laica, an incessantly sunny rogue of high rank in Vivaery's biggest criminal organization. Together they comb Arctas' capital city, searching for clues. But will they find that the rebellion is not as small or as evil as they were told?
