War; it's a term every human being knows. It's something that causes untold destruction and despair, so if one happens, everyone would know about it. So why is there a war that's been going on for over one hundred years gone completely unnoticed? Even if it's just between two people, a war between light and darkness should turn a few heads at the very least. After one full century, more people began getting involved in this war one by one, only causing that much more ruin. So why has this war still not drawn so much as a glance? The answer is simple, there has yet to be enough emotional destruction. That is what piques the interest more than anything else in this world. So then, let's turn things up a notch shall we?

This is a story of light and darkness, several people granted the power of the elements to fight in a war nobody signed up for, and the young man at the center of it all who was given the element of lightning.

A long time ago. When the world was ruled by Dragons, two of the highest class royalty dragons on Earth were here. The Mercy Dragons. And the Flame Dragons. Despite their names, they were both very nice people, and were the best of friends. Once the two children of the families were born, everything was perfect. Until, only a week after the baby's' birth, Prince Blade, of the Flame Dragons disappeared. The Flame Dragons blamed the Mercy Dragons, and soon after went into war. This war lasted for years. And is possibly still happening today. This is a story about a boy named Blokko Siere. When he was a baby, he was found in a forest fire, and adopted by the Siere family. He also has a brother named Eren. One day at school, he runs into a girl with beautiful white hair and eyes, and after knocking into her, hears a voice in her bag. The two meet again later in class, as she is introduced as the new exchange student, Yaoshida Mercy. The two get to know each other, and go on a little tree date. Thing end up moving fast, and after giving out some harsh words, they end up in a world of Half-Breeds, ruled by the powerful dragons. Blokko is told the truth about Yaoshida, and shortly after meets her assistant Merisiel. These three must find the mastermind behind Prince Blades fall to Earth, and stop them from destroying the world of Half-Breeds. (This story has its moment, like some cute romance scenes, and a fight scene. I put a lot of time working on this, and I hope you enjoy.)
My Last Breath (Book one of The Portal Series) by Chinesechickens123

BOOK ONE: Having enough courage to run through the woods and away from the people who convinced me they were saving me was not how I believed I'd spend my day. Yet, there I went escaping from the only place I knew existed in the world. Being held captive was too much for me, especially when these people wouldn't tell me who they were or even who I was. The first moment in my life I recall very clearly. I awoke in a dark room, with recollection of everything that happened in the world except for one thing. I had no memory of myself existing, I didn't know where I was or why these men kept me from leaving. Days after I first woke I asked plenty of questions, and yet none of them were answered. The only thing I learned was that I was not allowed outside because the woods heald the most powerful magic on the planet, the most dangerous magic. It was more than just bad men and curiosity about the forest that got me to leave, it was a pull towards something; towards magic. Once I was in the forest turning back was never an option, so I put it in my head that I'd keep walking until I found a civilization or a nice paved road that would lead to safety. But that never happened because the forest has a force living through it. Believing that the forest held something strange was the easy part but experiencing it myself was something totally different. I didn't expect anything normal but I didn't expect to be completly engulfed into the forest. I was led by an unknown presence that made me truly believe it was a living being, and in fact it is. I was innocent then, but now I know that anything can be hidden under a small platform in the woods with a secret bigger than the world itself. I was given life that day, until it all ended months later; the day I took my last breath.

It meant being willing to sacrifice himself because it was his duty to do so. It meant putting his trust in strangers, and none were stranger than the woman that Tancred, the ghaisgeach Chief, wanted to partner him with... Deothas didn't need a partner. She didn't need to follow the rules and she certainly wasn't about to put her faith in anyone else. Why should she, when her 'brothers' and 'sisters' of the Comhairle-Chlaidheamhan didn't have faith in her? She was a loner, by choice and because she was the last of her people in the mortal realm. She was the fey-born, the only non-bhampair warrior in the Council of Swords. She was a mistake. They didn't want her and she'd taken all she needed from them already. Why would she want to babysit a new recruit? The council needs it's warriors to work together... even those who stole their positions. Unfortunately for some, both trust and love are far more terrifying prospects than war.
