War; it's a term every human being knows. It's something that causes untold destruction and despair, so if one happens, everyone would know about it. So why is there a war that's been going on for over one hundred years gone completely unnoticed? Even if it's just between two people, a war between light and darkness should turn a few heads at the very least. After one full century, more people began getting involved in this war one by one, only causing that much more ruin. So why has this war still not drawn so much as a glance? The answer is simple, there has yet to be enough emotional destruction. That is what piques the interest more than anything else in this world. So then, let's turn things up a notch shall we? This is a story of light and darkness, several people granted the power of the elements to fight in a war nobody signed up for, and the young man at the center of it all who was given the element of lightning. Being next in line for the throne means duty and responsibility. Unfortunately for their kingdoms, the three hybrid children of the Sky and Land realms, want nothing to do with it. Some say they were born with it in their DNA. While others think they should have never been in line for the thrones at all. Princess Eleonora is a feisty, free-spirited royal. She wants nothing to do with what's expected of her and that includes getting engaged to a royal from the Sky Realm. Expected to be the first of three to do so, she adamantly believes it will be the worst day of her life and she'll spend the rest of her days completely miserable. That is until she meets a royal just as feisty as herself in her courtyard. She soon realizes that what she's been fighting against for so long may just be what she ends up fighting for. Prince Aplomado and Prince Grey couldn't be any more different although they had shared a womb together. One tempered and well-mannered, enjoying his days taming wild beasts. While the other, full of attitude and snark, spending his evenings rolling around with creatures in the sheets. Even though the two are twins they have nothing in common. At least they think they don't. When Grey goes looking to confide in his twin brother after making a huge mistake, he stumbles in on something he shouldn't have. After realizing they're more alike than they are different, each of them deliberate if they truly want to sit on their respective thrones. Will they even be able to after the crimes they've both committed? ✬ ✫ ✬ ✫ ✬ ✫ ✬ ✫ ✬ ✫ ✬ ✫ ✬ ✫ ✬ ✫ ✬ ✫ ✬ This is a work of fiction. This all comes from inside of my mind.
