Right, i friking love adopted fics, they're so pure there little to no risk of surprise smut and it's almost all feel good happiness. but they're all the same, Girl who is different (often depressed) is adopted by idols against the odds than fluff, fluff but than angst angst angst angst 

So I said "To hell with that" I'm writing fanfic now...oh god

Romeo is a boy (Shocker!)who doesn't know much about his parents. Other than being a little emo he's pretty normal, Sassy, confident, and artistic. He just really hates being in the orphanage but he's been there for 11 years. Until one day everything changes... 

Yeah it's pretty basic, ill keep it as fluffy as possible but ya know we'll see

Wilbur is a young, trans masc teen. He is out to his parents, and they fully support him. They've bought him binders, let him cut his hair, and gotten him other things to help him transition. The town they live in though? Not very supportive. When they first noticed Wilbur out in public with his parents, people thought they had adopted, only to find out that he was indeed the young "girl" that happily ran around the small town with the other kids. They weren't too happy. The whole town, although small, is very homophobic and transphobic. Wilbur and his parents are the only people that are part of/support the LGBTQ+ community. On September 14, 2009, on Wilbur's thirteenth birthday, he and his parents happily spend the day together in their small home. However that happy day turned into a not-so-happy night. Two unidentifiable people break into their home, kill Wilbur's parents, and abduct him. All because he's trans. Sir makes me sound older than I actually am.' OR A fluff to angst to fluff adoption AU where Wilbur Soot gets adopted into the SBI household just before his 18th birthday after years in the foster system. Now, he must learn how to trust his newfound family and find that it's okay to be dependent on others. But after so many years of only relying on only himself, Wilbur struggles to do that. After all, can a story ever be that simple? Trigger warnings are at the top of each chapter. There aren't many but check them out anyway.
