I am a reader of crime novels and hard science fiction almost exclusively, and yet this story, which I have been writing for a long time, is a love story, I can't explain it even to myself. The characters will have to work through hardship and evolve to be able to surrender to the magical things around them and the flow of the universe and the love of other people. This story still is a work in progress, it has holes and it is to be continued

Yes, I am aware reboots & origin stories have been done to this cartoon before. But please give this a chance. When this first started being written I was unaware of other fan works which do that act. This is a modern re-visioning of the classic 80's cartoon with mild references towards the movies.
