Murtok (SCRAPPED IDEA)

Murtok isn't your average vampire looking to sulk about in the dark. He's many things, drug lord, owner of the downtown St. Louis nightclub Nightshade, and a murderously insane pureblooded vampire. He is a business man first and foremost with an empire to run. Beyond the rival covens scattered throughout St. Louis a new rival has sprung up that threatens to tear his empire down. Even more alarming is the fact that this new group has drawn the attention from the Council, the vampire rulers who police the underground world.

Beyond the upset of attacks on his wealth and status lays an even greater threat to his existence in the form of a woman. Full time student, part time stripper, there is something special about Tasha that's not only drawing Murtok's attention but the attention of every vampire in the city. Beyond his better judgement he shields her from the monsters who lust after her flesh and blood, and within her closeness Murtok begins to emotionally unravel. In the guise of a warm blanket of indulgence lingers a dagger poised to plunge into his black heart. The question now lay in if she is able to sooth his lonesome journey through the toils of immortality and save him from plunging further into his insanity, or if she will destroy him...
