Through The Eyes of A Siren

Since the dicovery of mythical creatures, the government created H.O.M.C( Hunting Of Mythical Creatures) could "better understand them" or at least that's what the public knows. In order to secretly preserve their species, they would disguise themselves as humans and repopulate within their populations, especially since previously existing human hybrids thrived in safety already. This cycle continued on for years until the government announced that all the original creatures where secretly found and wiped out for good; and ever since them people believed it to be true.

One day a young teenager by the name of Maxenne, or Max for short, was heading along the main path hone from a long errand when she decided to take a shortcut home. It was a small secluded path through the woods that not many adults knew about so teens would trek here often. While walking along the path, she noticed a large glowing lake that was connected to as steep path that veered left. Out of pure curiousity, Max went down to investigate the beautiful glowing water. What she finds unlocks a disturbing truth...one that tests her faith in the government.
