A sudden interference of an outsider into the much loved story, Fruits Basket marks the start of a massive plot twist.
Looking at the story logically, Fruits Basket is a story focused on the one and only Honda Tohru. All the characters evolve around her. As the story progresses along side with its characters, it flourishes greatly. Starting from the prince Sohma Yuki until the hysterical head of the Sohma family, Sohma Akito.
What would happen if someone from the outside world, someone who knows the whole plot, is sucked into the story, not as the protagonist but as a supporting role?
Akiyama Izumi is your typical high school teacher in Japan who loves being lazy. That is just until she goes into the world of Honda Tohru and the Sohmas. As a great fan of the tale, Izumi has the whole plot right in her brain. With this as her advantage, she gets involved into the Sohmas and the curse more than expected.

Shifting Souls | Fruits Basket Story (Momiji x Y/n)
You, Y/n Sohma, are a special part of the Zodiac. You're the aligning soul, the soul that is seated next to god, working hand in hand with them. Your soul, in the story, represents the banquet itself. Designed to be organized and help the others in the family. Your soul is supposed to act as a therapist for the god, in other terms, keep them happy. The thing is, your soul some years ago betrayed the god by suicide (basically breaking the curse), leaving the other zodiacs to suffer. When you were born, with the rebirth of the aligning soul after decades, everyone was amazed, but since that day Akito (the holder of the god soul) has gone crazy, almost psycho. You've been cooped up since then, but will that agony ever end? (I just wanna say that this story takes a while to get to the Momiji x Y/n part, sorry) I DO NOT OWN FRUITS BASKET, THIS IS NOTHING BUT A FANFICTION. Sending a HUGE thanks to one of my fans for the book cover, you're amazing!!! Yes, this story has been completed. There is an actual ending and everything! Last updated, May 29th 2022.Complete
| Useful | Momiji Sohma |
-Hikari Hayami was determined to stay with her best friend, Tohru, no matter what. Even if that meant moving out of their shared tent in the woods and into the Sohma house. Her only purpose was to keep a very jarring promise to Kyoko Honda, to whom she owed her daughter a debt larger than life. All she needs to do is protect Tohru until they graduate, which might prove to be difficult when a certain member of a certain family makes it his mission to make sure Hikari understands that she doesn't have to be "useful" to be loved. ----- Momiji Sohma X OC ----- Will contain canon typical triggers, STAY SAFE!! I don't own Fruits Basket, I only own my OC :D

𝐟𝐫𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐤𝐞𝐭 break the curse! but don't forget the happiness you gain along the way. As if Sohma Kuroi hadn't spent seven years running away, it seems she can never escape from the curse as the largest liar of all. So she must hide behind her strawberry smile; her sunshine disguise, and hope she won't lose her head trying to face down the god. ⚠️Abuse, depression and suicidal themes, self harm Fruits Basket Fanfiction. A rewrite of 'In Memory' which I still treasure very much, but there is much more I'd like to tell. And also with grammar, normal effing writing, you know. I'd like to start blank.

Akito (A Fruits Basket Fanfiction)
I've always been fascinated by Akito. She's lived her entire life hidden from the world under boys clothes, under this image she's built for herself as some sort of god. She controls the Sohmas with abuse, she does horrible things to them yet none of them seem to blame her or resent her for it, which is part of the curse. She appears on the outside to be some sort of sociopath, who is more than happy to manipulate people to get her own way. But she has this addiction. Every morning once the moment has passed, she is unable to see why she did it, she promises herself that it will never happen again, yet every night she's back outside Shigure's bedroom door, hating herself because she knows she should have more willpower than this. She doesn't understand how she feels about Shigure and it scares her, it scares her a lot. She catches herself wishing for things a sociopath shouldn't wish for, like a loving relationship, a family with Shigure by her side. The only problem is that he sees her the exact same way that she pretends to see him- as a recurring mistake she makes each night that means nothing more than a means to fulfil her needs. In this 'relationship', it's Shigure who is the sociopath. Oh, a couple of warnings, there's gonna be a couple of swear words and sexual references but there won't be any like, actual porny smutty stuff cos… uhm… yeah just no. The most it's gonna get is kissing which I'm awkward enough about writing as it is! Will Akito ever realise her true feelings for her childhood friend? Will Shigure ever need her for more than just sex? Could Shikito possibly be the worst ship name ever? You'll have to read to find out!Complete
