Made of Glass

1 part Complete

Dea Price is a runaway- or rather she was a runaway. When her mother's rants about the man who lived behind the mirror and who would one day come for Dea became too much, she left. Two years later, Dea is forced home to help her estranged brother bury their mother. Coming home forces to Dea to confront her past, and also brings an interesting group of strangers into her life. At first, Dea is sceptical, but when she begins exhibiting inhuman powers, she has no choice but to trust, something that doesn't come easy to her. Slowly, Dea learns the shocking truth. Her mother wasn't crazy or vindictive. The man behind the mirror is real, and he is coming for her. Dea learns that she belongs to a special race of humans who possess abilities such as mind control, telekinesis, and superhuman strength. She is thrust into the middle of a turf war, and tasked with protecting herself, and the family she never knew she had. Dea must learn how to control her budding powers, but she also must decide who she can trust, and what is and isn't worth fighting for.
