Infinite the Jackal is a mercinary working for the evil genius master mind, Dr. Ivo Robotnik. Who had recently been defeated against Sonic and his crew. As well as the resistance's new rookie, (Y/n). After this however, Sonic and his original crew were insulting the jackal. (Y/n) didn't like this because of her extreme kindness and small crush on the scary Jackal. She stood up for him and in the end she quit the resistance. Causing Sonic to go into a regrettful frenzy and even asked for Eggman to help get her back. In the meantime, (Y/n) was making friends with the Jackal herself.

Third book in: Sonic Running. Exposing G.U.N may not have been such a good idea. When two new, time traveling, heroes appear with dire news, it seems defeating G.U.N may have been a mistake. A bigger evil is on its way. What's more, when a dog by the name of Cliff informs Sonic and friends about something called the 'Chaos Emeralds', it becomes deadly apparent this new evil is somehow connected. In a race against Eggman and Time itself, the heroes journey across the world to find these brilliant jewels. Little do they know, this evil lives within the Fastest Thing Alive. After all, Sonic's tipped the first domino and it was the kind of race even he couldn't outrun.
