Carmen is screwed up. She's been in and out of juvie all her life and seriously there's no place she'd rather be. Until she gets released from juvie unexpectedly, given a probation officer, and forced to live with a normal family and go to a normal school. Carmen doesn't even know the definition of normal. Much less family, or school.

Separated from the only system she's known and has stayed constant all her life, she finds it hard to adjust to the world outside the concrete building. The structure and rules aren't the same. In juvie, rules were like opinions, people ignored them. But in the real world, supposedly it wasn't socially acceptable to steal cash, or graffiti the front of the school building.

Enter the Harrisons, the family who's taking care of her. The matriarch of the family hates her criminal record. Sammy, the seven-year-old, is too clingy, too innocent, and too naive to understand anything. Then there's Jay, the guy she's forced to share a room with. A self-righteous son of a bitch, Jay doesn't understand Carmen and doesn't understand her self destructive way of thinking. Though he's not bothered by her, he's fascinated with her.

The family represents the structure and rules that Carmen doesn't, nor wants to, understand.
But as Carmin starts to push back at the structure and rules suddenly rushed into her life, it starts to change. Her whole way of living is thrown off balance, what she deems normal isn't. And through a series of events, she starts to spiral out of control, and she doesn't know if someone can pull her up from that.

Carmen was given a second chance, but is it a good chance, or is it just another recipe for getting thrown right back to square one, like she always is?

Because second chances don't usually get handed out.

And she's about to learn what it means to get a second chance.

[COMPLETED] "Shoot," Joey mumbles, letting out a string of profanities under his breath. We turn around to find a group of men, all with guns, standing where we just came from, and they look pissed... probably because they were forced to run through this tunnel after us. "Thought you could get away, didn't you?" The man who I saw before asks. His husky voice booms in the hollow tunnel, reverberating off of the dirt walls. His voice sounds familiar, and a realization strikes me. It sounds like the man from my dream. I remember him holding a gun and wearing a blue suit, smiling evilly at me. "Leave us alone," Joey says, sounding dangerous and snapping me out of my thoughts. The levity of the situation hits-we need to get out of here. I look around for a route of escape and thankfully I see a light, literally, at the end of the second tunnel. I let out a small, almost inaudible, gasp and nudge Joey. He looks at me and I subtly gesture with my head to the second tunnel. He glances at it and immediately we are on the same page. His jaw sets and he looks at the group. The man speaks up again, chuckling darkly-a sound I will never forget and will be permanently etched into my brain, "You can thank your father for starting this mess." -------------------------- Liza was a normal teenaged girl, living the average life that an eighteen year old girl should be living. She had good friends, good grades, a happy family, a loving boyfriend, and an overall content life, seemingly having everything a person could ask for. However, when she somehow gets thrown into the mix and is in the crossfires of a brutal mafia war that she has no business being a part of, things spiral out of control and she has to do whatever it takes to regain her freedom. In this hectic adventure of gun fights, torture, bank robbing and intimidating mafia men, Liza has to face it all, putting her average life on the line in order to defeat the bad guys and go back to her normal way of living.

COMPLETED Carmen's life was turned upside down when her parents were murdered, she moves from town to town before deciding on beacon hills. She has a troubled past and supernatural ability. But ability won't save her from the demons inside her head, even though she is part demon. Sooner or later she will break, she just hopes there's someone there to catch her. Note: contains triggering content (self harm, self mutilation, suicidal scenes/references) + alcohol abuse and drug abuse + smut. First season of teen wolf. THIS IS MY FIRST FIC SO PLEASE DONT BASE MY WRITING SKILLS ON THIS - PLUS ITS SUPER TERRIBLE IDK WHY ITS STILL BEING READ IN 2021 HONESTLY DONT READ IT + I am aware it's littered with grammar n spelling mistakes but it was made literally years ago when I was like 12 or something soo it's super tragic and embarrassing, and the only reason I'm adding this ~warning~ now is cause I'm kinda sick of getting comments about it, (save yourself the brain cells and just don't read in the first place lol trust me) cause I'm not gonna go through and edit out mistakes from a shitty fic I wrote when I was 12 about teen wolf. So pls stop commenting about them as if I will, if you really want to read it so bad for some reason just ignore the mistakes or don't read at all cause I can't be bothered to edit them out ok thanks bye I appreciate the love tho it's just not a good fic at all💀 Also - I know the difference between you're and your and there their and they're now ok pls leave me alone I was 12😭 Read my new stuff if you want actually good writing (sort of idk, see for yourself)🥲✌🏻

Season 1 complete! Book 2 (Rhapsody) complete! It was a new start for her, at least that was what her dad had told her when they moved from LA. A new start, with a new odd group of friends and her past mistakes still haunting her every move. Mistakes which suddenly seemed a lot harder to escape in such a small town; where the wrong person could be just around the corner, or the right one running full speed in the opposite direction. Turns out, it wasn't a new town which gave Lexi a chance at a fresh start, but rather colliding with Pope Hayward two weeks before the hurricane. The only question remains as to whether or not she can handle the life she's been offered, especially when a certain blond comes into the picture, threatening to cut the final string which holds her together. ---------------------- Smut warning LOL. Hi! I got this idea really randomly and just decided to write this book. It's a little different from the actual show, and there are definitely certain themes which make the story line a bit more graphic so viewer discretion is advised; definitely a spicer version of the Netflix show if you get what I mean. Just want to preface it by saying that there will be some triggers, and I'm not sure if I'll be able to catch them all because I've only lightly edited this (so if there are some minor plot holes just ignore them LOL), but the main ones will be sexual assault, suicide, physical/verbal abuse, and mental illness. Please tread lightly if these are sensitive topics to you, as certain peoples limits might be different from yours. Happy reading!
