Chłopcy spotykają się na wieży astronomicznej każdego wolnego wieczoru, by wykonać zadania podane im przez Profesora. W końcu dochodzi do kłótni, po której stan psychiczny Draco pogarsza się jeszcze bardziej. Blondyn zostawia gryfonowi liścik by przyszedł o podanej godzinie do miejsca, w którym zawsze się spotykali. Ślizgon próbuje popełnić samobójstwo lecz Harry ratuje go, zyskując 100% zaufanie Malfoy'a. Tej samej nocy odbywają ze sobą szczerą rozmowę, podczas której Draco płacze jak nigdy wcześniej. W sercu Harr'ego coś przeskoczyło na ten widok. Upiększył wieże między innymi pięknym, kwiecisto- gałęzianym murem, właśnie dla ślizgona, oraz żeby nikomu nie stała się tam krzywda. Dalej... Everyone at Hogwarts and in the rest of the world knows that Draco and Harry are archenemies. They can't, I can not stress this enough, CAN'T be in love with each other. Well, the universe desperately wants it to happen, so it has to, somehow. But how in the world will Harry get his archenemy to look at him, in a way that's not negative for once? How will he possibly get together with him? And how's Draco supposed to get together with Harry? He's a pure-blood and therefore can't be in a relationship with Harry James Potter, can he?
