                                                                           *

She had wasted years chasing a dream that was never meant to be. Sasuke Uchiha is dead-killed by Naruto in their final battle. Sakura Haruno should hate him for it. She should blame him, curse him, and despise him for breaking his promise. But she can't. Because deep down, in the hollowed-out remains of her heart, she knows the truth: Naruto was never the one who failed her. She was the one who failed him. Once, he had been hers to claim-the one boy who saw her, recognized her, and cherished her without hesitation. But she had turned away, blind to what she had until it was gone. And now, as she watches him in absolute love with another-with the fire, devotion, and tenderness she once craved-Sakura is left to drown in the weight of her mistakes. For once, she reaches out to the only friend she has left. But as the hours pass and the truth becomes unbearable, one question lingers in the cold Konoha air: What does a person do when there's nothing left to hold onto? Tonight, under the quiet glow of Konoha's bright lanterns amongst the cold winds, one last mistake waits to be made. Canon Divergences: Sakura never trained under Tsunade, never reached her full potential, and remained a low-tier kunoichi under Kurenai's genjutsu tutelage. Her obsession with Sasuke only worsened over the years. Naruto, no longer the boy who once begged for her affection, is soon to be Hokage and devoted to Hinata, the soon to be Hyuga clan head, the woman he truly loves. As the past and present collide, Sakura is forced to face the life she could have had-and the one she threw away.

Ahsoka Aoyama, the last member of the legendary Aoyama clan, was deemed a prodigy in every regard since she was young. After the obscure death of her parents, the once joy filled six-year old is returned to her birth place of Konoha where she enrolls in the Academy and has to learn to adapt with some help from two unlikely friends. Yet the most important moment of her life might have been when she met a certain silver-haired boy. **Did I name her after Ahsoka Tano from Star Wars?...yes. Even if the name isn't Japanese I thought it would fit her nicely. This is a Kakashi x OC story but I don't want that to be the WHOLE focus of it. I want to really emphasize her relationships with the other characters as if she truly were a part of the show. What a sucky character she would make if she were only there to be Kakashi's love interest right? My goal is to make her seem as if she could be a believable character in the show. This was also written with the way the anime is made in mind. I will be adding my own arcs to the story to spicy things up and not bore you to death with things you have already watched. WARNING: will contain mature content at some point (not when they're still kids, duh) This story will have three parts (all in this same book, I'm not making three different books) dividing the different time periods of the show. Part 1: Before Naruto starts Part 2: Naruto and Naruto Shippuden Part 3: Boruto I'm mentioning this because the writing style for each (specially Part 3) might be a little different. Hope you guys enjoy! ;3

"Naruto!" Sasuke gasped. "Have you seen Sakura?" "That's..." Kakashi cut Naruto off with his hand, waving him down. "That's actually why we came here... actually." Kakashi said. "Until further notice; your mission that you were to go on is not happening." Sasuke just looked at Kakashi, he wasn't known for stopping a mission unless something terrible was happening. "What happened to my Fiance..." Sasuke murmured. He wanted to inch his hand to his sword. He wanted something physical to attack. His anger was smothered in fear. "What would you think Karin would want with Sakura...?" Kakashi murmured. Kairn? What did she have to do with any of this. "I... I honestly wouldn't know... I don't keep up with them anymore. Why?" "Because Sakura was reported to be knocked out in a red headed girls arms just this morning, they tried to catch up to her, but failed." Kakashi murmured, Naruto grabbed Sasuke's arms and pinned them to his sides. Everyone knew Sasuke was about to act irrationally. Sasuke was wordless, he didn't know what to do. His mind raced. They couldn't catch up to Karin? They couldn't save her? He knew there was something they weren't telling him. "What the fuck.... you told me she was safe in this damn village!" Sasuke yelled. He pulled against Naruto, trying to free himself. "You told me to trust you damn it!" "Naruto..." Kakashi murmured. "I'm sorry Sasuke..." He mumbled from behind him. The last thing Sasuke remembered was Naruto hitting the back of his neck. So I guess this is how Sakura felt... ------- Uchiha Burden is a spin off from Chidori Heart. Sakura cant stand all of the relationships that are happening while Sasuke is gone, but when Sasuke comes home, it triggers more events then any of them ever expected. You wouldnt think an Uchiha would be such a burden

Sakura was on the very same bench Sasuke has left her. Crying with such sorrowful tears that it quickly saddened her surroundings. She was crying for her teammate, the very teammate now considered as a S-rank criminal. Sasuke Uchiha. She hated the name to be mentioned by her friends even it was only to reminisce those fun times they had together. "Why?" she cried. "Why did I have to be on love with someone like Sasuke-kun?" she complained bitterly. "If only." "If only I had one last chance." "Another chance to restart my life." "Even though, this would change my future, it's fin with me." "I just needed a second chance." Before she knew it, she was somewhere where no darkness existed, only light. "Where am I?" she wondered. "I will not tell you where you are," said a voice that felt like as soft as cotton and as elegant as ballet dancer dancing the most beautiful way. "Why am I here for?" asked Sakura. " You are here because of what you pleaded for," the voice said. "Your second chance." "My second chance?" "Yes, but you have to risk something." the voice said in a serous tone. " Your memory." "My memory?" said Sakura worriedly. She greatly cherished her memories, especially the fun times she had with her friends. " Yes, that will be the only sacrifice to get your second chance," replied the voice. Sakura was determined to get a second chance. " Alright, I accept." "Your second chance is granted." Then, another blinding light came to Sakura. Her recent memories were erased. Her second chance has become a reality . Will she be truly be happen this time? And just like that, they were gone. Hinata sighed, "I miss them already." Sasuke enveloped her in a hug, "I'm going to miss those brats too." Hinata bit her lower lip. She pecked his cheek and took a hold of his hand. She silently led him inside the house and up to his room. "What are you doing?" "I miss them so much," Hinata said as she shut his bedroom door. "As do I but they had to go back to their own time," an oblivious Sasuke said, "We can't do anything but wait now. What are you doing?" Hinata let go of him and bravely took off her shirt, "W-w-we should get started on them as soon as possible then." Sasuke gulped as Hinata shyly stripped herself. Her hips swayed as she made her way to his bed. Sasuke couldn't help but lick his lips. He pulled off his shirt and threw it across the room. Sasuke rushed over to Hinata's side, admiring her voluptuous figure. He really was in love with his future wife. He began to place kisses across her jaw, "I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you." Life is an odd creature. Sometimes the expected turns out to be unexpected, and other times it's the other way around. When you add two time travelers from the future, a former avenger, and a princess of compassion, playing with timelines might turn perilous. He would never expect her to be his future, and she would never expect him to be hers. Maybe they're not meant to be together, but maybe they are. Perhaps they only need to be prodded. Perhaps two passengers are required. This is either a story of true love or a jumble of feelings. I don't own Naruto, otherwise what would I do with ninjas?
