Spirits and humans live together in peace and can enter and exit their worlds trough the spirit portals. But sadly, her time has passed and there is a new Avatar reborn in the Earth Kingdom. But why isn't he/she shown yet?

Due to the chaos caused by the fire nation and the absence of the avatar, Two powerful spirits that were once sealed in the spirit world by, Wan, the first avatar have managed to escape the spirit world and reincarnated into human vessels. The Dragon spirit Ryo and his lover Kitsune the Fox goddess. Kaito the reincarnation of Ryo, the dragon spirit, was born in the Southern Water tribe as the oldest child of Hakoda and Kya. When he was eleven, the Fire Nation raided the Southern Water Tribe, which resulted in his mother's death and his capture, which left his family in agony after losing their mother and older brother. However, three years later, Kaito who was Fourteen unexpectedly returned to the Southern Water Tribe, which left everyone stunned for a bit before welcoming him back. When his family asked what happened to him, he would always avoid answering the questions or just ignore them altogether. He took part in the war with his father and for the past two years had developed not just his water-bending abilities, but also his combat capabilities to the fullest. Before returning home on the order of his father, and traveling to parts of the world, learning different skills.
