My mother taught me to always put other people first before myself. She taught me to be kind, selfless and understanding. So, I tried, I treated the people I loved with care, Always having a special place reserved for them in my heart. I watered those seeds of love every day, Always caring, always giving, always selfless for others. However, what my mother did not taught me was how to deal With the emptiness in my heart when others did not treat me the way I did. Like a forest of trees are forcibly pulled out from its roots, My heart is the patch of dirt left empty and purposeless. It is hard to be kind and selfless in this world, As others do not always return the act. //Poem collection//

This is a collection of poems and pieces of writing. That I have written over the last 2 years of my life. I've never been one to actually live. To take the risk. A lot of the things I have written are about things that have happened in my head. Or random thoughts that have popped into my head that I was able to make more of. I've never known how to say the words aloud. Even if i did I never had the confidence to so. So I would write. I hope you enjoy and are able to feel something.
