19 year old Liyana Khumalo is not excited about starting her first year of university. Her boyfriend of 3 years breaks up with her during the December holidays. She is less enthusiastic when she discovers that she has to live with  her brother and his best friend that she is not fond of but also loves like family. She decides to concentrate on school until life takes her onto a whole different path.

Shuiab Shaikjee is a typical play boy that sleeps around with different girls. He doesn't believe in love and marriage, only doing what works for him. His life gets slightly complicated when he has to deal  with his best friend's sister and her childhood friend, Aaliyah Mohammed . He isn't prepared for what life is bringing his way. 

What will happen when two different people of different race and religion fall for each other in a country that is still not use to interracial couples. Follow the journey of Shuiab and Liyana of love.
