Mystery
Get Away. Get Away. Get Away. Get Away. Get. Away. That's all I hear. Everyday. By everyone. They might not say it directly. Few do. But I can tell. Their behavior scream disgust when around me. Eye contact is avoided. I'm used to it. It's just as regular as the sun rising. Sometimes I get comments, snickers. Freak. Weirdo Lunatic. That's him, the kid. They always expect me to wear black clothing, look depressed, give off a weird vibe that gives them a reason to avoid me. For the most part they're right. I am depressed and I mostly wear black. I moved to the he town of Harborville when I was 8, starting all the comments, looks, and bullying. I don't even know why I am or was bullied. I didn't do anything. Why we moved here is a mystery 17 year old Harvey Longmire has a strange, blank past. His family avoids him. Everyone in the small town of Harborville are too disgusted to talk to him. His father acts strangely around him and his own mother abandoned him, not wanting anything to do with him. The thing is he can't remember anything about this past that has exiled him from having a normal life. All he can recall is fire, and a pair of loving eyes staring at him. All he is told is he is having hallucinations and nightmares that mean nothing. Knowing all of this, Harvey can't help but have a feeling that everything is not what it seems after he discovers something. Will he be able to keep these dangerous thoughts at bay, or will they come surging like a tsunami, opening doors that should stay closed? Please vote and comment! I'd love any criticism and advice on how to better this book. Love you! Will be updated regularly.

Maybe

An internal voice whispered, "Call him." But I chose not to. I dismissed it once more, saying, "He never liked me anyway." Yet the dilemma lingered. "But maybe he does. The way he looks at you... it's different." Out of nowhere, he glanced my way. My heartbeat quickened, sending shivers down my spine. I averted my gaze, pretending to look around. "Has he noticed me? No, wait-oh my god." --- After switching high schools, Nina discovered a new way of life. She fell in love, made wonderful friends, and everything seemed perfect. But Ethan-a popular boy who never focused on anyone but her-was the object of her hatred. He was always there, always keeping her safe. He used to annoy her endlessly. She hated him deeply. Until she didn't. For a while, she was content with her high school experience. That is, until something mysterious turned her world upside down. Forced to move to a new city, Nina had to cut ties with everyone she once knew. Eight years later, fate brings her face-to-face with him again. "Ethan..." He's the key to everything-the truths she never knew. When she was lost in the dark, he always held the light. But now, things are different. She despises him. He's colder than ever. Or perhaps she fears him. Fears that he'll leave her again. Will their lives ever return to normal after everything they've endured? "Maybe?" "Maybe yes. Maybe no?" --- Started: 8 November 2021 Ended: 19 December 2022 Rewritten: December 2024 --- ### Rankings Goals So Far: #1 Adolescente #1 given up #1 blinddates #1 pretend #10 twistedromance #50 high school romance --- ### Notice: This is my first published story, and it contains numerous grammatical errors and bad editing.
