Harlow wishes for nothing more than meaning to her life. With the new religion pushing forth, destroying those left to believe in the Old Ones, she sees the meaning slip more and more. With her sisters gone, her mother within the black void and her father turned, she seeks out the forest, hoping to find rest there and join her mother within the void. However, the forest has never belonged to humans. It has always been for the dead, for the wolves in human skin. As much as they are hungry for the living, Harlow might find her hunger for meaning stilled among them.
