Crossing over into the world of Cyberpunk 2077 should be an opportunity to make a big splash... Wait, hold on, isn't this the year 2075? Sure, it's already November, and 2076 is just around the corner, but I only know about what happens in 2077! In this world, you might not want to live, but you can't afford to not have a job. Anyway, let's start by becoming a mercenary and picking up gigs. That sounds simple enough, but getting a job from a fixer only to face off against an ACPA (Armored Combat Personal Assist) right off the bat-aren't we going a bit overboard here? And who's this daughter of Michiko Arasaka? I've only seen the demo; I don't know these people! What kind of chaotic mission is this!?

Three years before the events of Cyberpunk Edgerunners, a former Nomad named Michael used to work alone as a Solo. However, that changed when a Gig gone wrong led to him joining none other than Maine's crew. After running with the crew for some time, he ends up putting himself in mortal peril to save his crew. Seven years later, in the year 2081, he is reawakened by the Arasaka Corporation in an unfamiliar mechanical body, and learns that everyone he once cared about is gone, including his mainline. With the love of his life taken from him, Michael has lost the one thing he had left to live for, so he vows to get revenge against Arasaka, and to kill Adam Smasher, the Merc who murdered his mainline in cold blood. In his fit of rage, he meddles in affairs he shouldn't have, and inadvertently causes a breach in the Blackwall, leading to a demonic AI cult known as the Tenebrium Collective breaching the new Net, and posing a threat all of humanity. Will Michael be able to overcome his grief in order to save the world? Only time will tell.Terminé

What is reality? I was John-now Charlie, a woman with a VR game tester's cunning and a professional whiskey enthusiast's attitude. But then AIs have risen, and my job evaporated faster than last night's drink. Just when I hit rock bottom, this punk kid-barely old enough to shave-dropped a bombshell: "Reality's just a simulation." Sure, buddy. I laughed it off. Until I woke up twenty years in the past. Now, thanks to a hacking mishap, I'm a regular girl in reality-with a debt and an attitude-navigating Rimelion, the VR game I once mastered, as Charlie, an elven priestess with more than a few tricks up her sleeve. Seriously though, fighting in high heels? Will I claw my way up the nobility ladder? Dominate the rankings? Outwit the government and their plans to exploit us all? Maybe. But something's off. The game feels too real. My memories don't line up, and everyone has their own version of what's true. Simulation? Reality? The lines are a blur-and I'm stuck in the middle. If I want to stop a dystopian future, I'll need allies, both in-game and out. Oh, and avoid ticking off the AIs hunting me for bending the rules.
