The Eastern and Western Republics make their home on these continents and are determined to make sure that anything like the last World War will never happen again. Their fail safe? An elite branch of their armies, assassins, highly trained killers whose sole purpose is to protect their governments from corruption.
Katherine Mills is sixteen when she is recruited to be an assassin. She is trained and is prepared to give her life over to the surface of her country when an enemy emerges, an enemy with dreams of being queen and will do anything and kill anyone to do it.
