Hiccup went missing six years ago, and was presumed dead. The only person who knew different was Astrid, but letting them believe she was dead was kinder than the alternative. At least then she got a proper warrior's burial. The last thing she expected was for the latest voyage to return with a night fury on its ship, and a woman tied up next to it.
Ever since she had left the island, Hiccup had traveled the northern world studying new dragons and discovering new lands. She had become a legend, a supposed Dragon Master. Six years later, she is just out on a flight when she is shot down by none other than her old family; Berk Voyagers.

Hiccup and Toothless left Berk thinking no one cared. Being the neglected child of Berk (despite his family, and being the heir to the village), Hiccup decided he'd had enough. A Runaways Resolve, A Dragon Master's Legacy
You have likely seen it all before, Hiccup gets chosen to kill the Monstrous Nightmare but instead of staying to try and prove to his village dragons aren't the monsters they think they are, he leaves. Abandons the world he knows for a world of possibility, a world where he can be him, be free. What if he is one day discovered by a group of dragon riders and chose to join them as they had adventure after adventure. It would be a good life but of course it would never stay so happy, things would change sometimes for the better sometimes for worse. Old scars would surface, old lives reappear and new faces vanish, how would this affect him. Well shall we find out? I don't own the How To Train Your Dragon franchise of course and this is all done for fun. You know the legal stuff. I also don't own the image, I got it off of google as one could expect. For now the story isn't Mature though this may change in the future as I continue so I will make sure to change that if it becomes necessary, just an early warning just in case I break a guideline.
