The mercy she had shown it was betrayed, and now, he stood, watching in silence as the filthy thing killed her, and defiled her. He did nothing because he Could do nothing. It was the most painful thing he had ever experienced. on that starry night, he made a pact. A pact to kill EVERY. SINGLE. GOBLIN that he comes across. wether it begs or not is completely out of the question. No hesitation, No attachments.

Izuku would eventually return, wielding unimaginable power, but such power comes with a steep price. What stared back at him through the mirror would not always be his true self.
