"Hey Grams!" I called as I entered her front door. No need for formalities, this was where I felt at home. I continued into the living room to find -not Grams- but the last person I wanted to see... EVER.. What is HE doing here? Why is he back, after all these years?

But when his family moves and he and his twin sister Alexandria aka Alex go to a new school, he finds that not all people fall for funloving, humorous Brady. Sure there were always haters but this is different. Charlie seems to genuinely dislike him, she glares at him and totally shuts him out except for the times her eyes betray her. Will Brady ever able to get Charlie to open up to him? Will Charlie be able to forgive Mystery Person, get over her past and find true happiness?

He and Mikayla are fighting habitually, his home life is still unbearable, and his time at school is hardly any better, made worse by a bully named Calvin. Their mutual dislike of one another leads to a lot of hostility, routinely leading to Jay being sent to his school's principal. One confrontation in particular goes much too far, resulting in Jay's expulsion from school.
