Ethan stared at the markings on the wall. It had been at least a month since he could recall seeing anyone; the creepy scientists don't count. He remembers his kidnapping quite vividly. His body constantly littered with new bruises from the constant prodding and poking, not to mention the wings that suddenly sprouted from his back; painfully. One morning he finds that his cell door is unlocked and curiosity takes over. Will he find where he is at? Will he find a way to escape or the details of why he was kidnapped and experimented on? The tests succeed and the teens are equipped with strange abilities that make them the most powerful humans on the planet. Things take a turn for the worst when a tragic accident leads to the deaths of most of the scientists. The teens are now mostly by themselves, stuck on an island, with dangers lurking at every corner. Just because they have powers doesn't mean that they're invincible. Test day. The day we knew was coming and had been dreading the most. Today is the end of what we have known and the beginning of the unknown. We will be tested, graded, and shipped off to where our tests assign us. There is no freedom of choice, no independence, and nothing to look forward to. All of us have been together since the beginning and can remember the good ol' days of playing outside, dressing how we wanted, and being free to be who we were and wanted to be without having to worry about getting shot because of it. What I remember most is going to the library and having the ability to choose whatever book we wanted to and in those days there were too many books to choose from. Those days are long gone. The ruling government now makes all our choices for us. The freedom of everything was taken away along with all of our rights, until today. We are ready to fight back and take control of our country for our generation and those that follow. We may be 14 years old, but we have a mission and that mission is to fight for and regain the freedoms that were lost. Today is the beginning of the unknown.
Remember Humanity
She knows nothing. He knows nothing. However the human race is counting on them. Earth has changed, more specifically human genetics has changed. Hardly anyone on earth is able to have children now. Humanity will die off soon if nothing is done. Neither of them even knew their names when they first met, but now they're expected to live with each other. They are expected to carry on the human race, however will things change if they start to remember.Complete

As long as their getting closer to the sky, they don't care what they stand on to reach it. They don't know about the sparkling dreamer that's killed 7 people before her 17th birthday. They don't about the ghost of a girl peaking around corners for her entire life because even home wasn't safe.
