___________
I see you and the pain you hide,
where your heart and soul divide.
I see fragments of what you were
and this person who lives in a blur.
Tell me reader, how long has it been?
How long have you kept your words
underneath your skin?
The words you couldn't say,
the colourful words now turn into grey.
The words you couldn't share,
the kind words that were meant to be there.
Hugo Carter Price
