Did you ever think the inner spirit and soul inside of you could ever make a giant impact on your existence that you may have taken for granted all this time? The thought constantly flew over 13 year-old girl Aspen Eterna's head obliviously over the years of living in the 'middle-of-nowhere' part to her small, rural town. That all changed once she and her group of friends found out that the hidden mysteries inside of the giant dirt hill found out back of her isolated subdivision revealed the alter egos that developed from their special auras. As hard as it is to have your life as you know it flipped around, what happens when your ex-best-friend frenemy and your crush get involved in the mix with their own intricate auras to represent the bad apples in the basket? With the sudden changes to these young kids' lives, will the newly formed Guardians of Mount Coronet be able to stop the threats of the Nega auras? Will Aspen be able to put her secret feelings aside to save her town from falling to permanent ruin and darkness? ...Or will the mountain and the crown crack?

Ghost aren't real. And chics this cute don't tell you they are. It's the reassurance I told myself, which mostly didn't work cause it was a straight up lie. This book doesn't have effervescent, long haired fairy's or stoic vampires that smolder and fight. More like a judgmental grumpy teen weed dealer named Zach, who shamefully talks about himself in third person like this. And you won't find some grand quest up a mountain or into an unknown land rich with magic because I have asthma and no time for that shit. And lastly, there will be absolutely no hideous romance where instantly the girl of my dreams sweeps me off my feet. I get on her nerves far to much for that. Finding out I'm part of ancient group of mediums tasked with cataloging, fighting and cleansing ghost you would think has some upsides. But so far all that comes with it is cold chilled air that gives me the sniffles when they're around. I'd like to say by the end of this book I'll have conquered the monster and won over the girl, but as you read you'll learn that's far to much faith in a screwup like me. This book won't be for everyone, hell people die in it. But the good news is that if I die at least I'll be around, floating off of the pages to haunt you in your home. Actually that sounds like bad news so perhaps try and finish so you know if you have a ghost . *This story contains themes of suicide, sexual content, drug use and mature language. 🎶Look up the Bury A Friend playlist on spotify to play the songs at every number.🎶

He's here, he's always here. Watching me, protecting me. Even if I can't see him I know he's here. I can sense him. You know those moment's you get cold chills or you see something out of the corner of your eye but when you look nothing's there. Yea, well that's him. I wasn't suppose to see him though, it just happened. Now that I know he's here I do thing's to provoke him, to call him out, and when he ignores me I tiptoe into dangerous situations to force him out, which initially angers him. Gath is my appointed guardian angel. He guards my body, my soul, but he can't guard my heart from him. Yes, I'm falling for my broken angel but how can we ever love, we are from two different world's. Guarding Aspen was more of a punishment I received for being a disobedient angel. In order to receive my entrance I was ordered to keep her safe and out of trouble, but Aspen is no ordinary girl. She tests my nerves to no end and does so purposefully now that she is aware of me. It happened so fast the night she saw me I'd hope she would think I was a figment of her imagination, but no such luck. She wouldn't stop pushing the limits until I showed myself again. Not only dealing with Aspen's tantrums I was running from my own demons. Being back on earth was a reminder of everything that was ripped from me one fateful night when I was a human. I was sent here to fix Aspen but in the end she fixes me, she mends my broken wings. The hardest thing is to come though, when I must return to the heavens and leave my Aspen behind.
