Alice was five in 2011 when her parents were murdered by the primates while they were rampaging over the Golden Gate Bridge towards Muir Woods National Monument. Caesar had hand-raised Alice alongside their primate troop. Her troop taught her how to hunt, gather & sign language. At thirteen her ape brother, Blue Eyes betrayed his human sister towards where the exit trail. Letting Koba ambush her & leaving her for dead. Alexander, son of Malcolm, discovered Alice who needed medical attention and her fractured left wrist. Rescued her to where he lives in a secluded guarded area for humans. The first month of Alice living there, felt like she couldn't heal. Alice connected Alex. Alice was raised by Ellie. Ellie later married Malcolm 3 years later. Humans needed hydropower for the human people. Alice becomes in dismay of Ape and Human War. Caesar, Alpha of the troop, felt her spirit, hurt; needed help. Alice falls in love with Alex. Thus getting pregnant at sixteen. While in the ape troop celebrates and join hand in their matrimony with her family & friends. People want to separate from her primates family, Koba especially wants to kill the baby in her womb. The real conflict is really between is Caesar, Koba & the humans. How will Alice choose her two separate families?

At first, Koba planned to kill him once he was well enough, but when the human protected him from other humans who weren't so nice, he changed his mind. He told, not asked, Devon to come with him. Collecting remaining apes that were still loyal to him and had stayed in San Francisco, Koba took his new tribe and left, only one thing in mind. Build a tribe strong enough to destroy Caesar's. Soon, Caesar is met with trouble again. Cornelius and Blue Eyes are ambushed. They weren't attacked though, only threatened into giving their father a message.
