Takashi Shirogane is one of the most famous students in the Castle of Lions High school. He's very popular but trusts only few students in his class Pidge, Lance, Hunk, Coran and Allura.
Coran, Allura and their farther who is the principal, Alphor are 'different' because they're what's called alteans. Specail beings that has specail powers and this school is not any ordinary school. It's a school for future generations of defenders in space, protecting the world from the galra.
The galra are beings who conquer lands for their own kind and the leader responsible is known as Zarkon.
A transfered student named Keith Kogan was different than his classmates. It's not because he has a bad record, it's because he's a galran hybrid apparently, one of his parents was human and the other was a galra.
What if Shiro found out the dark secret Keith was holding for his whole life.

Lance is fed up. In all his years, he has only known life inside the Castle of Lions. As he described it, a prison cell disguised as an extravagant home for the royal. He longs to get away, but his newly crowned sister, Allura, won't have it. So, against her younger brother's wishes, she hires a bodyguard to keep him 'safe' inside the castle.
