It's been years since Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji saw each other since they part ways. Lan Wangji regretted letting Wei Wuxian leave and he's been suffering everyday. He longed for his love, he never thought being away from the Yiling patriarch again will make his life more miserable than before.
Each day that passes the more Wangji felt sad, lonely, broken and even felt like he's about to go crazy without his Wei Ying by his side. He never thought that he'd be like this, he never thought he'd let his feelings control him, it was like Wei Wuxian had put a spell on him but he doesn't even know why it feels so right being with him.
After years of being miserable, a sudden happening that had made his life lit up again with just one letter but the problem is he seemed to a really hard time adjusting in a new world?

So when she demands that he take her to the college dance Wei Wuxian had to pretend to have a girlfriend to get out of the situation but the problem is that she is his only female friend in college. So when he chances upon the prettiest face on campus he walks up to it and places a kiss on it. Only that face belongs to Lan Wangji. Lan Wangji turns to him and blinks. "Ah, here you are," he says and turning to Xue Yang introduces him, "That's my boyfriend," he says. Wei Wuxian's raised brow is met with a cold stare daring him to refute. He smiles widely in response and answers, "I'm Wei Wuxian, from Chemical Engineering," he says. "Xue Yang from Electrical, same as Lan Wangji," he states.
