Misty has its own meaning - foggy, uncleared, blurred or dimmed.
Like a morning, when air is thick with moisture ,foggy and hazy .
In contrast of its meaning, here it represents a woman or "she" as a misty.

Anthology Of Love(Poetry Collection)
Greetings dear readers! This is my first ever poems book. And um I wrote these all based on my personal experiences. As you may journey through chapters of this book based on my life and events throughout. A little sprinkle of the chapters are fictional but nearly all are non-fiction straight from reality. Hopefully you will love this journey with me. Few of these poems are dedicated to my friends or based on their experiences/point of view. Most poems may contain heartbreak or sad feelings but still the majority of the poems are about love, happiness and positivity. Ndubuisi's 155th Sonnet
Shakespeare's *Macbeth* was in my syllabus when I was in secondary school. But *Macbeth* was just an appetiser, for I went on to get the complete works of his. It was as I was reading his sonnets that I tried to mimic his 14-line poems-and the rest is history. I did not simply read Shakespeare; I encountered him. In my "mimicking" of his sonnets, I learnt that a word could be stretched from its primary meaning to other "shades" of meaning. Poetry to me is like a pilgrimage, a path of mystery, a ritual that can transport the poet from where he is to where the subject of his writing is, where he achieves a lived experience. I deliberately chose a rhyming scheme of **AABB CDCD EEFF GG**, with which I wish to import an African voice into the sacred art of sonnet writing. ✨ *OnukaoguOkechi83 is a winner of the Shortys 2025. Pangs of Neglect
This is my second story book of poetry after publishing Sitting Under a Torn Umbrella - with a new title and have a new outlook. Now modernization of humanity is found nakedly in every aspect of life. Divine law doesn't follow today. Rather we disobey whimsically, arrogantly, intentionally without pondering over its side effects and destructive result. Effortless effort, coreless relation do raise its ugly head like a poisonous snake. The words like filial piety, cordiality, fraternity, honesty, modesty do not get entry into our so called modern lexicon. Man's faith is being stampeded on foot, hope sinks into dispair, promise is broken, innocuous peace cut into pieces. Hanky-panky, desultory atmosphere forced us to go back to the Days of Ignorance. Hopelessly we do feel pangs of neglect sitting under a torn umbrella.Complete
