Bailey Swanson lives her life in a unique fashion of being unapologetic and bold. Breaking rules and having fun is all she does. She never had needed a reason to leave the small town of Breckinridge that she had called home for so long, but she had gotten one. Now four years later she fits in well in New York City with one common theme throughout her life- temporary. From homes to people nothing is ever permanent. This had been her lifestyle for so long she hadn't realized how bad it had gotten until she is left with nothing but a duffel bag of her few belongings, a shattered phone, and only one place left to go.

Kaiden Adams is as careful and collected as they come. His life is a brooding and boring mess of repeating the same schedule. Never getting too close to anyone was a motto in his life he would never change. Living with his brother he had always seen his fair share of girls, but never once did anything with them simply out of disinterest. Although he would like to say he didn't care about anything, it just wasn't true. He cared about a lot, just not the right things. He would also like to think that when he first ran into Bailey Swanson she didn't catch his eye or his interest. Again, it just wasn't true.
