Cassandra Scott is only a sophmore at Seabrooke High but the star of the football team which isn't saying much. The team sucks to say the least. She is the best quarterback but you can only do so much when your team can't catch even the easiest of passes. Zombies are coming to the school and honestly she couldn't care less. If they're any good at football she will gladly take them on the team. Cass knows they aren't the zombies you read about in horror stories and honestly thinks the cheerleaders are a bigger threat to her than anything.

She is just like him and they have twin telepathy. They can't here everything each other are think but they can hear most. this causes a strong connection between the two. Zed Necrodopolis the newest high school outcast. He use to have it all.. Popular, perfect grades, just voted in as the new captain for the football team and was dating Seabrook high cheer captain Addison Wells.. Well that was before his life completely fell apart. Before he was humiliated and gutted at the Junior Prom when his fellow team mate and best friend Wyatt Lykensen sent a video to everyone in the school. Apparently it was a bet and all of Zeds "friends" were in on it. A sex tape, only it wasn't of Zed and his girlfriend Addison. It was of Wyatt.. with Addison. Addison left the prom in tears leaving Zed to face Wyatt alone with the rest of the school to watch. Zed ended up breaking Wyatt's nose and then both boys were arrested that night...
