After three years, Ash and Serena meet back up and decide to travel again to the Persici region with Bonnie, and two new friends named Maria and Mary. 

Many things can happen in three years. Serena travelled through Hoenn and Sinnoh, and became Top Coordinator. But, she's also harboring a difficult secret that is causing her nightmares.  Will she let Ash and the others in? Or will she allow what happened to break her?
