The first book in my Wings of Fire Fanfiction series. 113 years after Queen Thorn ascended to the Sandwing throne. Trouble has been brewing in many of the Pyrrhian Kingdoms, all seeming to stem from a mysterious cult-like religion that has been spreading lies, murdering hybrids in cold blood, and searching to wreak havoc in Ventus, a separate continent with an entire new Tribe of dragons. Scorpion, a young hybrid who remembers vividly the attack on her own family that left her as the only survivor, goes on a quest to find and gain allies wherever she can, including a visit to Ventus to try and gain help from the mysterious 'SwiftScales'. As the Faithful close in on them, however, it becomes more and more apparent that they must join forces, or be crushed underneath the enemies talons.

!In the process of being rewritten! ------------------------ "The saddest thing about betrayal is that it never comes from your enemies, it comes from those you trust the most." The year is 4999 AS and Princess Scorpion is awaiting her ninth hatching day with her brothers. When the day finally arrives, treachery strikes her like a sharp blade, changing everything she's been led to believe. Anger and betrayal threatens to push her off of the edge, blinding her to her own wrong doings until it's too late...but is it really her anger and distrust that's blinding her? Before long the desert kingdom she called home is shaken back into a time of misery and fear through the sudden death of one of her sisters, war is on the horizon as accusations are tossed and alliances are formed. Tensions are rising, distrust is forming, and blood is spilling along kingdom borders. Forgotten regrets are being unearthed. All Scorpion wanted to do is protect her family, but how far is she willing to go when the enemy is closer than anyone had ever imagined? With the reluctant help of a kind hearted SkyWing whose senses are as good as her eyes and a NightWing with the ability to hear what is left unsaid, will she be able to solve the mysteries that lurk the palace's dark history? Or will she fall victim to her family's undoings? ------------------------ This book is part of a series which can be found in my reading list! NOTE: This is kinda old now, dawg why is this getting reads now? A Wings Of Fire story that takes place in the depths of the Sky'wing Kingdom, following the story of a powerful hybrid dragonet who has to fight in the infamous arena regularly for most of his life, until... ? This a story based on the book series Wings Of Fire, obviously. In this universe, most of the canon events didn't happen, and are instead replaced by my own original stories and characters. No canon characters from the books exist in this world. There is at least one fantribe in this world, that fantribe belonging to me. Mud'wings don't exist in this world, because i have an unexplained hatred for them. WARNINGS: • Violence + blood • May contain explicit / aggresive language / Mild swearing, etc. • May contain character death / drama, etc. You may: • Draw fanart of the characters. • Write about the characters. [No NSFW, excluding violence/gore] *Both with credit* You may NOT: • Use the characters from this story in a roleplay. • Claim the characters as your own. • Make characters of any fantribes in this story (or any other of my stories) *without permission.* This rewrite was written by Fefek1 / DinoFefe#6956 / Fefe / Me. All of the art is drawn by me. This excludes most realistic backgrounds, as they are just photos I've found online. All dragons drawn are 100% drawn by me, though. CHANGES ADDED IN THIS REWRITE: • Name changes • A LOT more art and references! • Both minor and major plot changes • Overall written better, and more coherently • Better dialogue • More realistic characters (Hopefully?) • Most of the cringey stuff removed (Hopefully?) • Longer • More backstories/character lore [Old version: https://www.wattpad.com/myworks/323920781-wings-of-fire-bluefire Read at your own risk, because It REALLY SUCKS

It was strange, waking up in a world much different from your own, and as a dragon, no less. It didn't take long to learn the ways of this new world, but with war always on the horizon, ruthless parents, and a societal hierarchy that decided everything, it made goals hard to reach. However, with knowledge and memories of events of things that have yet to happen, and creations never seen before in this world, it might make reaching those goals a little easier. And while we're at it, why not play a little music. Part One: Cold Beginnings (The End is Where We Begin - Dream On) Part Two: Burning Ambition (??? - ???) Part Three: ??? Wing of Fire belongs to Tui T. Sutherland and any and all OCs belong to me. I do not own any of the music.
