Rosalyn Henderson loved her brother and mother and that why she hated how she felt trapped by responsibilities that someone her age shouldn't have. Because of those responsibilities, she was going to be trapped in this feeling of misery forever. It never occurred to her that to feel joy in her life, all she needed was a boy who takes more time doing his hair than she does.

It's a slow burn, they won't be getting together until between seasons 2 and 3.
