Time moves fast like the speed of light, the students looking at each other's eyes... "How did we get here?". Anything can happen when a person is full of anger and guilt, shadowed by their own ego...will you invite them to be your friend? Or fight them like a foe?

Have you ever grown up? I had my first experience last month and it was truly disappointing and I would argue life changing -- I no longer see the average grown adult with the same respect as I did before writing this fic. And honestly, my impression of the community prior to writing this fic, fairly intelligent, and they really were a cross section of the general public. But as when I started writing this fic, I was truly astonished at my writing and how impressive my brain power is. And I can sense how that experience has seeped into my psyche and is polluting my ability to trust people, and I have become more suspicious of the true motivations of those around me. I literally cannot tell if I was just naive before and am more realistic now, or if I was realistic before and have become cynical now. This does not define my political views, and who I am today. Six high school students looks like anyone else acts like anyone else but are capable of things no one else is. They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else. I am working on rewriting this story and when I do there will be the trigger warnings in the correct places.) (small teaser.) No one sees me. I am a ghost. I brush against the wooden fence. No one will believe it was me who disappeared into a fence and appeared on the other side of school. I stare at my brother. He made eye contact with me, confirming my suspicions. We both saw it. Although the world appeared to be normal, one day changes occurred. The 'New Generation' was formed. Young children moving toward highschool started developing abilities. These abilities were the same or shared with gods and mythical creatures. For example one had the abilities of Zeus able to produce lightning, and so on. These were called the 'Irregulars', all sent to 'Sacred High', a highschool created specially for them. This however is not a normal school, as there are no adults around to lead anything. Due to this statement, this youth was titled "The Atheist', put on Sacred High between the rampant gods and myth wielders. Striving to aim for higher popularity ranks to ensure their safety, this was literally a battle to survive and become the strongest. The better your reputation, the less likely anyone would bother you. At the top stands the Student Council, possibly the most rotten out of the school, while at the bottom, the new IAI joins. Does this youth have no actual powers at all? Will the Student Council do something odd? What is the purpose of this school? Find out and explore Sacred High!
