He was a drunken mistake she made, a slip when her mind was intoxicated and her  judgement corrupted, a mistake that was supposed to stay just that, a mistake, a mistake that she couldn't afford to repeat

But that mistake lived across the river. That mistake was Greenvilles Golden Boy with the perfect grades and manners and hair and everything. That mistake was in her poetry class, that mistake was the literature club president, that mistake was Christian Alana.

And Christian Alana wanted to be more than a drunken mistake, than her drunken mistake.

That mistake wanted to be hers.

And that mistake got what he damn well pleased.
