Here's an up-close rendition of the Grimm Brothers' fairy tale of The Golden Bird.

Follow the travels of a naive, charismatic, foolhardy young man who earns treasure, friendship, a princess, all while falling in love. BUT NOT WITH THE PRINCESS?

Well, no story is as simple as it seems. Ronin may have read the story of the Golden Bird in his past life but he was 6 years old at that time! How was he supposed to remember the details? All he knows is to listen to the talking fox , follow the gold (wow this world is obsessed with gold huh?), and go back home as soon as possible...maybe?

The story had a happy ending, right?! Now if only he could remember how the original protagonist did it, everything should be fine. Why couldn't he have been reincarnated into cinderella? or rapunzel? At least Disney made movies out of those!
