"Wh- where am I?". I looked around me. I was standing in the middle of a dark forest covered in snow. "What am I doing here? And, who am I?"

Waking up in the middle of a dark forest with no memories, Jake must run from all sorts of beasts. Embark on a dangerous journey with Jake as he uncovers secrets as old as the dawn of men,  and trains to survive. But darkness lures on every turn, waiting to grasp him in its shadowy hands. 

Will he be able to save those around him?
And will he answer the question of old: Who are the raven men?
Only one way to find out.

The night is dark. There's no moon, no stars. We rush through the thicket of the woods. The sound we hear is the pounding of our running feet. We run into low hanging branches, fighting against them until we stumble until a clearing. My partner grabs my arm and leads me down another path. "Wait! Where are the others?" I shake my arm from their grasp. "Where are they?" There was a stillness to the dark woods. The type of stillness that holds danger within its shadows. "They'll be fine!" I get pulled back down the path that I was being led to anyhow. "They know what to do. They won't find us if we stay separated." I ran alongside my hidden pair. The moon is at its peak at night. It shows us the way. "It's not him I am worried about, Sunistral. It's her." I hear a sharp breath behind us. I swear it was! But it was disguised as a searing gust of cold wind. When I looked back, there was nothing. Just an endless pit of darkness. It was then that I knew that it had found us. This dream somehow finds me ever night. And every night I wake up in absolute confusion. I have no memory of my parents or where I came from. The only true constant of my existence is the visits that my nightmares make at night and during the day. I have yet to understand the echos of them. Until I find myself where it all began: at Pearl Academy.

How am I supposed to know where someone was, when I didn't even know they existed? They keep asking, threatening to kill me. There pleads keep me awake. My sanity is probably gone. I'm losing it. Is this real How come I don't even know the Raven they keep repeating over and over?! -------- April is caught in a confusing twistful fairytale like adventure. But every time she seems safe, death knocks on her door. Not very politely too. She makes friends and enemies, but the one question that keeps here awake at night is Who is this Raven I'm risking my life for?

I love the world and I built and the characters with all my heart but the writing is incredibly outdated and the plot progression is all over the place. I may reuse these characters in the future, but this series has come to an end. Through the rain drops that fall on me from the treetops, I can feel the icy breath of a dawning winter. It will be cold this year. It's a shame Ill never see it- I love the cold. Most cold. Every day without fail, I take a hour walk in the forest behind my home after school. This time something happened that I didn't even expect in these woods. At first I heard a low growl and thought it was just a dog and an owner. Then it got louder, sounding like it was getting closer. My head jerked in a direction where a twig snapped, causing my heart to start beating faster then normal. It was a bit dark in the forest, considering it was winter. I felt a hand go on my shoulder, turning my head, I saw a man, probably in his early twenties. ''Run!'' He whispered but loud enough for it to be a shout. I looked at the eyes and a hand grabbed mine, pulling me off in a different direction. This isn't the best way to meet someone but what happens when they see more of each other?
