Hence the Spacing Guild offers to raise one of the Three Great Houses to Royalty. The noble Atredies, the brutal Harkonnen and the secretive Ordos, a decision to be made by a War of Assassins on the planet Arrakis, home of the Spice Melange.

The Lady Lethe of the Atredies summons a new commander to command her forces on the harsh desert world of the Fremen and Sandworms. One Commander Achillus Dorn, would he succeed in raising his House to the Throne or cause the end of it?
